Read Sixth man charged over Perak Tengah ‘sex’ case
"A businessman, who had admitted to religious authorities of having sex with a Chinese woman, denied on Friday to committing the offence at the Sessions Court here."
"Businessman Fairul Azrim Ismail, 30, claimed trial to receiving a woman as sexual gratification from one Mohamad Imran Abdullah at No 401, 4th floor, Sri Sayang Apartment at Jalan Batu Feringghi, Penang, on Aug 14 at 8.10pm."
That's the beauty in Malaysia! We have 2 judicial systems. Can say YES in one and a NO in the other!
Or rather you can say "I admit having sex BUT it have got nothing to do with graft"
Great...they fear the civil court but not God! Admitting to having sex concerns God and denying taking graft concerns the Lord! May it please you, my lord!
In the 80s, when the Supreme Court (Mahkamah Agong) was at the Sultan Abdul Samad Building, Justice Harun Hashim adjourned all cases before him at around 4.05 pm and walk to the House of God on the other side of the Klang River...the Masjid Jamek. "The Lord meeting the God". That's what we called him!
Where shall we go? The House of God or the House of Lords?

ReplyDeleteDSN,
ReplyDeleteHow nice it would be for our judiciary to have more of the Justice Harun Hashim kind. Unfortunately when you don't do the bidding of the political masters, even the God fearing Justices won't stand much chance.
Sedekah, rezeki, takdir.....
